This metal grease filter effectively filters grease and oil from the air and is temperature resistant, so you can make the most of your extractor hood. The unpleasant odors and greasy fumes that are released during cooking can eventually clog your metal filters. To prevent this, it is recommended to clean your metal filters regularly.
Cleaning the grease filter
Spray your filters with a metal degreaser
Let the metal degreaser work for a few minutes
Wipe the filters with a wet cloth
Rinse them clean under the tap and wipe the filters dry again
You can also put the filters in the dishwasher
Then clean the filters at a maximum of 50°C and with a normal dishwasher tablet.
Please note: there should be nothing else in the dishwasher other than the filters. Otherwise, stains or other residues will get into the filters.
